Grab your cup! It’s time for our weekly Coffee Chat Tuesday.
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you HELLO from our new kitchen island barstools! We got these as a birthday gift from Johnny’s parents, and I love them! I am so stoked to have a place to hang out in the kitchen – the heart of our home. I’m writing this post from a comfy barstool!
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’m so excited to have a real-life coffee chat with Carly!!!! Can’t wait to see you sooooon.
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that we had so much fun on our birthday weekend Appalachian Trail hike! It was definitely one for the books. We hiked 10 miles in PA, from the Pulpit to the Pinnacle. They’re pretty popular hikes, and we loved the view! I’m working on a NEW page, all about our hiking trips. We’ve covered a lot of ground in just 3.5 short years and have a ton of tips and great views to share.
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that it’s RACE WEEK. The Zooma Half Marathon is on Saturday. I’m ready! Let’s go! I’m planning two runs this week (7 miles this morning, so much for tapering…ha). I’ll be heading to the race expo on Friday to meet up with other race ambassadors, and to pick up my race packet items. It’s getting reallll!
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that the husband bought me my very own wireless headset speaker for my fitness classes! I love having my own speaker set-up that I can take to events. And now, I have a headset mic! He’s totally transforming my on-the-road fitness game. I love it!!!!
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’m technically out of the office this week, but will still be working on a couple of projects, in between all of the house, garden, and fitness projects I have planned for the week! I don’t like being completely cut off, especially when I have projects that I like to personally see through to completion. It will definitely be nice to work on my projects when I want (which for me is best in the early morning, I work SO much better first thing in the morning).
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that Street Party this past Friday was a smashing success! There were definitely at least 400 people there (holy moly), the band was amazeballs, and my bartenders poured like 700 beers. I’m so grateful to my volunteers for their support, and am pleased to report that our earnings from the Friday Street Party event made 30% of the overall fundraising income for the weekend!
If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I cannot believe it’s JUNE this week. I’m ready for Ocean City/Chicago/OBX trips, and ready for some mega fun fitness events (the first Family Fitness Night is this Wednesday 5:30-6:15!). Let’s go!
What are you up to this week? Did you have a nice MDW weekend?
